Angus Macfadyen is Robert the Bruce: Exclusive Interview on Set

UPDATE 02-March-2018 13:14 GMT:

At the Production's request, we’re delaying the release of our exclusive interviews to better time with the film’s distribution.

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Angus Macfadyen talks to David Petherick of EdinburghFestival.org about his role in the forthcoming film 'Robert The Bruce'.

Originally playing the role of Robert The Bruce in 1995's Braveheart, Angus talks on location in Scotland about the long journey towards making this movie, the snows of Montana, a conversation with a spider in a cave, underdogs, failure, family, death, the Common Weal, and Scotland. #robertthebruce

About EdinburghFestival.org

Edinburgh, Scotland's Capital, knew that its road to recovery in 1947 in a Europe ravaged by the Second World War, would not take place without recognising the city and the country's place in European and World History. Thus the Edinburgh International Festival was born. Even at its first running, there was a Fringe - unofficial, uninvited artists and performers came to Edinburgh to show the world their talents.

Over 70 years later, and the rest, as they say, is history. Here, we celebrate Edinburgh and Scotland's role as a cultural icon for the world in the arts and in culture, and like the Festivals, work to showcase the Scots as the most hospitable and welcoming people in the world, living in the most beautiful city in the world. This is not just an August, but year-round backdrop to some of the world's most innovative and exciting performers.

EdinburghFestival.org is proudly unofficial, unfunded and independent.

Did you all know that the SEAL of Robert the Bruce, has been taken out of Scotland and sold to someone in America. I would like to know on who’s Authority the SEAL was sold? It belongs to Scotland, it is part of our Heritage and should be returned to Scotland ASAP.

Most people in Scotland don’t give a damn, we’re an English colony now, our heritage and history re-written for us by London Westminster.

Have your say...
